AMT6 - Mosaics - Tuesdays @ 6.30pm
8 x 3 hr sessions, $240 or 2 instalments of $125 by application
$45 materials fee in cash on first session

This class is aimed at beginners and students who have some experience with mosaics. Beginners will have the option to create a mosaic wall hanging based on a traditional design. Students will learn about tools, cutting, adhesives, grout, a variety of materials including unglazed ceramic and vitreous glass, and a brief history of mosaics and traditional design.
Students with some experience may choose to work on an indoor or outdoor piece, including wall hangings, pavers, outdoor bowls and house numbers.
The materials fee of $45, to be paid in the first class, covers the cost of substrates, hanging hardware, use of tools, adhesives, grout, unglazed ceramic, vitreous glass and various mixed media.
